Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

The movie is about a group of college students. About 5 to 6 went on a trip and they found a place in a far away forest and they decided to stay there. later they found out that the son of the owner lives there who likes killing people who decide to live there. They all ran for their lives. Suddenly the killer showed up and killed two of the college students which the other four trying to escape the forest which they couldn't he wouldn't leave them unless he kills them all so they decided the only way they could survive is to kill Jason voorhees the killer.

Settings

Its a normal house in the forest which is a camping house people come and enjoy their holiday with there family or friends. Suddenly they found out a killer lives there name Jason voorhees which he doesn't like anyone staying and kills them. The house is quite isolated which is typical of horror movies. Most of the horror movies are based in the woods or in the house to make people feel everything is fine.

Props

This film mostly used are: Knifes, Gun, Machete, Broken Glass, Axe, most of the horror movies they use mainly knifes but this movie particularly they used all kind of weapons. In this movie Jason Voorhees wearing a white masked with a machete in his wright hand going for his victims but in horror movies you can use everything to kill as the point of the movie it to get everyone dead.

Hair/make-up

In this movie Jason Voorhees is wearing mask bag to scare his victims. all the actor who are he's victims have done blood make up on them to give the audience the real effect of blood, most of the time the victims are killed by a Rope or getting burned so there's no blood.

The Scottish Referendum on Independence?

brief.
I think scotland should vote no in the referendum simply because it would be a great leap in a hugely uncertain direction economically. great britain being one of the biggest economies in the world it would guarantee a sustainable future for all the nations in the union. I believe that will be better for all of us there's  less of a chance of a war breaking out. Originally the referendum had three options until westminster took the middle ground 'advanced devolution' off the table , now the scottish people will only be asked if they want an independent scotland or not.

I watched the two videos. The first video I watched  was called YES campaign and the other one was the views of young voters. If we leave the UK, Scotland, and the rest of the UK become separate countries. Sharing the UK Pound would need agreement with people in the rest of the UK to set up a Eurozone-style currency union.

The Scottish Independence
1. About third of scotland's 4 million voters think that scotland should leave UK and become independence. Ending the 305 years old political union.

2. A brief history - Scotland's relations with its larger neighbour have often been difficult. none more so than in the wars of independence 700 years ago led by williams wallace and then robert the bruce. He defeated edward ii then attempting to subjocate scotland, at Bannockburn in 1314.
in 1707, that union was cemented by scotland and england's political union, forced on scotland in part by a financials crisis following the abject failure of its colony panama.
in the 1800's scotland economy strengthened, its cities boomed and its citizens took a leading role in the british empire.

3. Salmond is in talks with David Cameron, the prime minister, about securing the legal powers that holyrood needs to set up the referendum. salmon wants to pass legislation in november 2013 but laws affecting the U.K constitution are reserved to the U.K parliament.

4. What does it mean for us? Someone born in scotland: it should mean a greater direct say over one's government and more political freedom, but also greater economics risks, less security and more differences with england.
Non-scottish UK citizens: Not a great deal, but the UK economy will be smaller, oil and whisky may be expensive, british identity will be diluted and britain status overseas will be weaker.
